UK Government is taking an increasingly policy driven intervention in the waste and resource sector. Although historic focus has been on defra, DESNZ, DoT, HMRC and HMT are increasingly knitting various interventions that will impact, compliment or possibly conflict with defra policies. This session will explore the plethora of policy points and how they are impacting and then will deep dive into how the proposals for Emissions Trading extension to UK EFW will impact.
