Thermal Hydrolysis for organic recovery in mixed waste streams

Residual waste streams, like black bag waste, contain high percentages of organic matter. Thermal hydrolysis pre-treatment of mixed waste enables a highly effective separation of the organics from the non-organic materials by breaking down the organic fraction, chemically and physically leaving the non-organic fraction unaltered.
Being able to produce these 2 clean separate fractions from a mixed stream has numerous benefits and applications as it allows each fraction to be further processed in specific treatment sites for each type of waste such as AD, EfW and other Advanced Technologies.
