The European Decontamination Institute, EDI, is the leading platform for national decontamination associations, decontamination contractors and suppliers.

EDI was founded in 2013 with one main goal: to create a platform that brings together the professionals of the decontamination industry. The Institute has a strong focus on developments in Europe, but also collaborated frequently with companies, associations and public entities from all around the world.

During its 10 years of activity, the EDI gathered together over 70 members. The Institute has promoted the exchange of knowledge by organizing several working groups, centered around asbestos and other hazardous substances, and published a series of documents regarding this subject.
