We are Skip & Waste Magazine – here to help unite the recycling, skip hire and waste management communities via our monthly magazine and electronic platforms loved by thousands of readers.

Skip & Waste Magazine began in the summer of 2005 as a tiny publication, which we thought might be helpful in the industry. It started off humbly, and as years went by, it grew into what it is today.

It was conceived as a publication sent out to skip hire yards in the early days. It was given a thumbs up by drivers, picking station workers, office staff and senior management – the whole company.

Then it was ever so subtly called The Skip (there’s a real surprise) and went out to just a few hundred companies.

Fast forward to today, and we have created a veritable monster. The Skip was creatively rebranded in January 2023 to Skip & Waste Magazine, and now we boast of distributing to a database of over 45,000 companies. Our monthly tone has got a lot glossier, a lot bigger, and a lot better.

We get invited to every industry show and exhibition in the UK and are greeted like old friends by people in the industry, from John O’Groats to Lands’ End!
