Hi! I am Jessie Xue and I represent Newell Recycling Equipment LLC of United States, who is the world's foremost expert in metal and automobile recycling equipment provides Pre-Shredders, Shredding Plants, Spare Parts and Castings, Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Separation Systems, Shears, Inclined Shears, Balers etc.

I have been in this industry for about 14 years and I have never seen such economic opportunities as those that exist at this time.  Recycling is making the world a better place and shredded metals are in big demand because of the value that is provided.

We are excited and happy to be exhibiting at this ESS24 / RMW24 NEC Birmingham in UK.  I am happy that our Chairman Scott Newell will be present and will be available to talk to you about shredding from day 1 history, and the evolutionary changes and development during the past time.  

He has made more than 100 speeches on this subject to help the industry and was given a Lifetime Achievement Award by ISRI in 2015. During 2022 he was recognized by Marquis Who’s Who as a Top Executive and in 2023 received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who.  He has been there for a long time to see what works, and what doesn’t work.  The machines we build already know a lot of things, to not do.

Our chairman, Scott Newell, has personally run shredding plants daily for profit for more than 60 years, no one ever has had more motivation to improve the equipment and operational efficiency. Others just know what happened, well we know why, because we have operation experiences, we try, we correct and upgrade to make improvement. Our machines produce more tons per hour per HP at a lower expense per ton.  This creates more rewards.

During this past year, we visited a lot of plants in the EU and UK, according to our opinion, most of them are not following the “world’s best practice”. The downstream systems are very good, perhaps because of the recycling regulations, but we believe that this has led to the neglect of the shredder machines and most of them are not following the latest and most efficient designs.

Newell has done nonferrous separation systems since 1974.  We began with rising current water separators and heavy media gravity separations, and continued to eddy current, sensor sorting, granulating and air table gravity separations.  This led to Newell owning and operating more than 10 metal separation plants around the world.  This knowledge and experience are now included in every Newell shredding plant that is designed and built.
