EGGER Timberpak is a forward thinking wood recycling and reprocessing company that never stands still. For over 20 years, it has sourced waste wood for EGGER UK's chipboard production sites in Hexham, Northumberland, and Barony, Auchinleck.
As the largest user of recycled timber in the UK wood panel industry, EGGER UK has an ongoing requirement for waste wood, which EGGER Timberpak meets. Annually, EGGER Timberpak process in excess of 350,000 tonnes of wood at four sites: Timberpak North East in Washington, Timberpak Yorkshire in Leeds, Timberpak Scotland in Bellshill and Timberpak South East in St Albans.
EGGER Timberpak Ltd makes a valuable contribution to improving the environment through its recycling processes. The products produced by EGGER UK (melamine faced chipboard and structural chipboard flooring) utilise waste wood sourced by EGGER Timberpak Ltd which creates a market for items that would otherwise be burnt or sent to landfill.
EGGER Timberpak guarantees it will never turn waste wood away from any of its sites. This provides continuity and reliability for all of its customers, whether they are a large furniture group, a civic amenity site, an industrial user or a waste management company.
