Reactec has over 20 years’ experience in the development of workplace wearable technology and cloud-based analytics to prevent occupational health and safety risks.
Reactec’s first-generation wearable was designed to monitor exposure to hand-arm vibration while worker’s operated power tools and machinery, to mitigate the risk of long-term debilitating diseases such as Hand-arm Vibration Syndrome, otherwise known as HAVS.
Building on vibration monitoring expertise, Reactec expanded their ecosystem of wearable technology to protect workers from multiple workplace risks, including: exposure to harmful dust, industrial noise and dangerous proximity to operating hazards in real-time.
As part of the ecosystem, personalised risk data is transmitted from Reactec's wearable technology, and third-party monitoring devices, into cloud-based Analytics software for employers to make evidence-based decisions and refine control measures.
Reactec’s global ambition is to help forward-thinking companies to switch from being mitigators of industrial workplace health and safety risks to becoming prevention engineers.
