Andy has 30 years’ experience in geoenvironmental & geotechnical engineering design and construction on sustainable land development and infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally with major consultancies and more recently, with a specialist remediation and ground engineering contractor. He has managed and delivered many specialist geoenvironmental and geotechnical projects and large and complicated multidisciplinary land development projects. Andy has extensive experience of contamination risk assessment, waste management, ground gas risk assessment, sustainability assessment, earthworks specification, geotechnical design, Environmental Impact Assessment and construction management.

Andy leads the technical team at Cognition Land and Water bringing his significant consultancy and design experience to bear in the design of novel and innovative remediation and ground engineering solutions. He also has responsibilities in project direction and management, client care, business development, quality control and supporting the professional development of the team.
