James Clifford is the long-standing CEO of HGVC, a leading provider of HGV training and licence acquisition programs in the UK. Since assuming the role of CEO in 2012, James has transformed and grown HGVC from modest beginnings to a company recognised for its commitment to training the next generation of HGV Drivers and solving the UK’s chronic driver shortage.

James is a regular commentator on both radio and TV and has been a vocal advocate for HGV Skills Bootcamps and how they are securing the UKs logistics infrastructure for this and the next generation.

Before a life in logistics, James taught mathematics for 16 years at schools both in Scotland and England, so expect him to have a few stats tucked under his sleeves!
