John is an Associate Director at WSP, with 15 years experience providing consultancy and advisory services to clients across resource value chains. This includes understanding resource flows through the economy and assessing the impact of current and future policy on the handling, processing, use, and disposal of different resource types. His focus has been on the waste and recycling, biomass, and forestry sectors. Recent experience has included leading a process with Biffa to develop and publish a framework approach for assessing progress towards and future options for circularity within the UK economy, where plastic packaging and food loss/waste were specific considerations including the potential impact of collaboration in packaging design.
