Leigh is the Chair of the Environmental Services Association Biodiversity Working Group, which aims to raise awareness of the role the sector can play when it comes to protecting and restoring nature. Since its formation in 2021, the working group has published its Biodiversity Best Practice Guide and Nature Positive Toolkit, which are a useful reference and read if you are not already award of these.

Leigh is currently the Environment and Sustainable Development Lead at SUEZ and is focused on driving forward the companies Triple Bottom Line strategy, balancing the needs of people, planet and profit, and is particularly involved in the development and delivery of the net zero and biodiversity strategies, as well as employee behaviour change through the introduction of SUEZ Sustainability Champions network.
