Lukas supports the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) as Waste and Resource Specialist. Within DBT’s Waste to Value and Clean Heat Team, Lukas assists international investors on waste and circular economy projects in the UK. DBT works closely with colleagues across Government on the development and review of emerging waste, environment, climate, circular economy policies, that will influence the industry for decades to come. Before joining DBT, Lukas worked for consultancies on waste and circular economy projects in the built environment, as well as a German Government agency in a senior leadership role. He is qualified with an MSc in Urban Environmental Management from Wageningen University and Research Centre in the Netherlands.
