Malina currently coordinates the establishment of a comprehensive environmental monitoring network as part of the Forth-ERA programme within Scotland's International Environment Centre at the University of Stirling. This includes the deployment of a range of Air Quality sensors across indoor and outdoor environments in collaboration with various stakeholders as well as local communities and the wider public. Malina also manages the HEICCAM Clean Air Research Network based at the University of Edinburgh, where she coordinates research on socioeconomic and health inequalities with a particular focus on residential indoor air quality.
