Matthew Whaley
Matthew is an expert in water policy, governance, planning and regulation in the UK and internationally. With a background in infrastructure consulting, Matthew works at the GLA to support economic growth by improving the coordination of water infrastructure planning and delivery across the capital. His main areas of focus include implementation of integrated water management approaches, development of economic incentives for utilities and new markets for investment in green infrastructure. Matthew also actively participates in international exchange and dissemination of knowledge, publishing thought pieces and experience in journals and industry magazines as well as taking an active part in international networks such as MAWAC and the International Water Association.
