Michael started working in waste management in 1990 and in a local authority context since 1997. He has been a member of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management for over 30 years and has acted as ALCO’s Information Officer for around 20 years.  With a keen interest in tackling environmental problems, his role as Waste Strategy Manager for Richmond and Wandsworth Councils includes responsibility for a team delivering projects designed to reduce waste, increase recycling and re-use, and to improve the carbon performance of the Councils’ waste services.
