An Environmental Biology graduate Mike has worked across the circular economy in various guises for almost 25 years. With a background in analytical science in pharmaceuticals and precious metals, he moved into Hazardous Waste in the early 00’s and has since worked in Waste, Water, Energy and Industrial Decontamination. Mike Joined EMR in 2021 supporting innovation and business transformation; with a guiding role in low carbon projects such as Reusable Steel and environmental reporting. Mike is a technical member of the CIWM has an MA from Northampton University, various strategy and sustainability qualifications and has been an early adopter of technology such as drones, IoT and AI to reduce environmental impact of operations.
