Mike is an environmental specialist with over twenty years’ experience of working for National Highways undertaking research, developing policy and providing operational technical support to the business across its full range of activities, particularly in relation to the protection of the water environment. More recently Mike led on the development and implementation of the company’s Environment Sustainability Strategy (2023) and action plan for the next road planning period (2025-2030) and has now turned his attention to how National Highways can best deliver commitments made in its 2030 Water Quality Plan (2023).
