Rupert is 62 years old, his family were principal partners of the Carrs and Peek Frean biscuit businesses. Today Rupert is a sustainable enterprise entrepreneur with a 35 year commitment in taking forward the development of the Birchall Estate as a BNG and ESG exemplar.

Initially Rupert contributed to the Estate’s reclamation and regeneration from a long period of open cast. Since then Rupert has been responsible for the establishment of the PEAK Gateway Resort Town proposition and the obtaining of detailed planning permissions.

Rupert has been responsible for the assembly and acquisition of all the land required to deliver the consented development.

To achieve these outcomes Rupert has assembled and worked with various professional and management teams as well as local authority, political and community interest groups.

During the 35 years it has taken to position PEAK at the point of market readiness Rupert has been involved, as agent, in various property transactions principally in London.

Rupert continues to initiate introductions and assist in third party enterprises.
