A founding director of Resource Futures, Sam has been instrumental in leading and evolving the business to deliver continued, lasting positive impact.

One of Sam’s first actions as CEO was to have the company accredited to the B Corp movement; Resource Futures was subsequently named a ‘Best for the World B Corp’ in 2021, recognising it was in the top 5% of accredited companies for governance.

Sam has overseen some of the biggest data gathering and analysis projects in the public sector over the past decade and his strategic approach has positioned Resource Futures at the forefront of shaping policies and programmes that promote sustainable resource use and waste management.

He was part of the drafting panel for BSI 8001 – a framework for implementing Circular Economy principles in organisations – and is a vocal advocate for more transparency and better data use across the resource and waste management value chain.
