Valentijn is a Circular Economy consultant in the WSP Responsible Consumption and Production team and a Practitioner Member of IEMA.
He has in-depth knowledge of circular business models, sustainable development , and waste and resource management, which he applies across a wide range of sectors.
He has worked with policymakers, industry bodies, private companies and non-profit organisations to identify solutions that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve circularity and biodiversity, and have positive social impacts.
Furthermore, Valentijn has significant experience in working with the built environment, for example by identifying best practices in the sustainable design, construction and operation of buildings, developing Circular Economy Statements, and supporting developers achieve BREEAM Sustainable Building Certification.
