Criteria & Categories
Nominations will be assessed based on demonstrable impact, innovation, and collaboration. Judges will be looking for achievements that have driven measurable improvements in environmental performance, efficiency, or sustainability. Categories recognise excellence across instrumentation, service delivery, supplier-user partnerships, and smart network monitoring solutions.

Recognition Ceremony
Award winners will be revealed at the Vox, Birmingham, on the first evening of ESS Expo. This prestigious event features welcome drinks, a gala dinner, and a live performance by a special guest comedian. Can I nominate my own project?
Yes you can - self-nominations are welcomed and encouraged.
When do nominations close?
Nominations close on the 16th July.
Can I nominate more than one project in the same category?
Yes, but we only shortlist a maximum of five projects within the same company.
Where does the ceremony take place?
The ceremony will take place at the Vox, Birmingham, on the first evening of Environmental Services & Solutions Expo (ESS Expo) - 17th September 2025.
Does it cost anything to attend the Environmental Monitoring Awards?
Yes, you will need to purchase a ticket to the awards - tickets will be released soon.
Can I enter a project into more than one category?
Yes, you can enter a project into a maximum of three categories.
Once I've submitted a nomination, when will I be notified if it's been shortlisted?
If your nomination has been shortlisted, you will be notified in August. If you do not receive notification, then your nomination has unfortunately not made the shortlist this time round.
